He listening to Martin Luther King Jr and a lady in a hotel. The visuals were for the audience. Remember him talking about sending it to him and saying he better deny the Nobel Peace Prize? That is what he was talking about.

Only Catholics have to be celibate. Were you under the impression that Martin Luther King was a catholic?
MLK was cheeting on his wife, so that would have been a scandal, but not because he was supposed to be celibate.
Martin Luther King was a Baptist (Progressive National Baptist Convention) meaning he could be married but should not been cheating on her would caused a scandal. So if Hoover had a recording of King having an affair someone had it been leaked would have been a huge scandal.

2. Protestants: Preachers/Ministers/Reverands they can get married.
Catholic priests cannot marry.
Preachers are supposed to be celibate? Maybe some Catholic Priest but not Christian Pastors, Ministers, Preachers or whatever you want to refer to them as. Martin Luther King Jr. was the person he was spying on. MLK was a married man, that's why Edgar found issue with it, not only because he was a civil rights leader.

The voices were ethnic and definitely MLK Jr and a mistress, the government has many tapes on MLK Jr and the FBI transcripts are sealed for 50 years, which is almost up (2027). I think the King family should sue to keep them sealed another 50 years or destroyed.

I did too, but you can sound black. The same way you can "sound white". I say this as a black girl..well, woman really. Sometimes it's the tone, other times its the pronunciation of certain words. Not ebonics or MISpronunciation, but...oh screw it, I guess it's harder to explain than I thought.
Most people mistake me for white over the phone because of the way I talk, but I think that's more of my unintentional 'valley girl' accent acquired from having been born and raised in Southern California.

It was my understanding that his secret files that he kept in his office were removed by Miss Gandy and the man who was later called Deep Throat.
She played semantics with Nixen's men when they rushed over to get their hands on them. They called them by a slightly different name allowing her to say "there are no such files". After that they were destroyed.
I do remember one picture that survived. They snapped JFK coming out of a woman's apartment in Georgetown after midnight. But he held his hat in front of his face when the flash went off as he crossed the sidewalk so it could have been anyone. I think this was done when he was in Congeess.
There are rumors, especially today, that MLK had affairs with white women. That was something that would have hurt his cause considerably, and Hoover knew he could use it as (no pun intended) blackmail material.
