The book was much better

I watched the movie first, read the book by accident and now, rewatching the movie, I'm enjoying it more. The coloring...

Yes and no. I've absolutely loved some movies and just HAD to read the book. Practical Magic is an example, the movie was great, the book... Not so much. Then there have been books I just read and reread because they are spectacular and they mangle the movie. I've learned to be objective over the years. Most cases though, I prefer to read. Much cheaper because I buy used (yes, I still buy books, will never have a kindle),they are easier to pause, never need charging and if I happen to drop it, don't have to worry about it breaking.

How much did the movie differ from the book?
