I'm sure there was one (maybe) but I did not see what they gained by setting that guy up.

To draw the attention away from themselves so they could get the rest of the money and get away with passing it off as payment when they'd just stolen it from the people they were giving it to. I think the plan changed once they realised they could get hold of Magda and didn't need to worry about the money.

but then they wore the masks the wore when they stole the money in the video with selma hayek's character... so they would know that the two dudes were the ones who stole the money and killed their men... wouldn't that change anything as far as things not being even in the end? or did she just not care cause they had her daughter? or maybe she figured her snipers would take them out.. i dont know whatever.

at that point it doesn´t matter anymore
