It IS gay.

Letting a guy to be in your intimate sphere (ie in the same room) during sex and you remain sexually aroused. This is the definition of gay/bisex, by any standard. There is no such thing as disregarding another human being in your intimate sphere.

reply

Um no it's not... the definition of gay is being attracted to other men.

reply

The definition of remaining sexually aroused in the presence of someone is the definition of sexual attraction.

"Anyone who claims to be a feminist instead of a humanist is a tap dancing monkey."

reply

Um no... please show me this definition somewhere.

If you're aroused BECAUSE of this person then ok maybe I agree. But being aroused IN SPITE OF this person (while actually being aroused by someone else) doesn't mean anything.

reply

I jerk it with my dog around...does that mean I am into bestiality?

Good point... this guy's clueless.

that is the definition of retarded.

So if I see something in public that gets me going, then you're saying that I'm sexual aroused by everything that happens to be around me?

BiCurious at best.

reply

Bicurious if it is occasional. Putting up with it on a regular basis is more than that. Also, bisexual includes gay in it to the best of my knowledge.

What? Come on. OP, you obviously have never had a close relationship with another human being. We are not given to much of a back ground on Chon or Ben, but it is safe to assume that they are good friends, and have been friends for a long time. Even if they haven't, lets say they only met two years before that, some individuals just naturally understand one another. Though it is rare to have such a relationship, I have to believe that this was the unique case between Ben, O and Chon. The guys were like brothers, best friends and for lack of a better term "kindred spirits". They were very different as individuals, but opposites still attract even in friendships. That's a universal law. What you don't seem to understand is that people who are close, DO have situations like that from time to time. Both sharing a woman.. etc. If there is no sexual contact between the two men, and they are NOT sexually attracted to one another, there is nothing, absolutely nothing gay about it.

You lost my point. There is no such thing as disregarding another human being in your intimate sphere. It is either attraction or off putting. There is no other option. This is sex. It remains hard or does not remain hard, when that guy is in your intimate sphere. It is as simple as that.

"Anyone who claims to be a feminist instead of a humanist is a tap dancing monkey."

reply

Well see, I know that not be a fact. Because I have been in a situation like that and didn't even regard the other individual of the same sex as myself while the act took place with the female. I see to you, it's black and white. But I'm telling you man, it's not like that. I know me, for nothing else I can say that. And I know my sexual orientation.
Don't forget, this was just a movie..

reply

Well, you say you can totally disregard a guy *beep*-ing the same time the same chick as you, and you can totally focus on the chick instead. Do you know how that sounds? Why would anyone do that? I never heard more disrespectful thing towards oneself than this. I could understand if you'd get the hots for the guy too, but what you are talking about is just inhuman and pointless. You'd have been better off with your hand or with a bit more modest girl. I'd try to revisit my emotions towards that girl, if I'm not bi curious, then we might not be compatible sexually. These things happen man.

reply

haha. come on dude. you're trying too hard here. I also think perhaps you are getting the wrong picture here. I wasn't in the same place at the same time as anyone else the same sex as me, you dig me? I wasn't anywhere NEAR them. Have you never seen chasing amy? Remember what her nickname was? Yeah... NOW you're getting it!!

same woman same time. that is all there is to it. if you are not interested in the guy, then get your own woman or you are a pussy

So your trying to say that this would apply to women as well. If there is a threesome between 2 girls and a guy then you are assuming that the women must be bi....
Still to be defined as gay or in this case bi (there was a woman involved) there would need to be same sex touching or at the very least attraction to the same sex. If I am not mistaken the two guys never touched each other in a sexual manner so I would not classify it as bi or gay, Brokeback Mountain sure, this movie no. It's like polygamy (more than one wife) or polyandry (more than one husband), just because they chose to share doesn't mean that it's one big orgy where everyone is with everyone. The man watching etc. could like the girls reactions to what is happening to her, his friend doesn't matter.
IDK either way these are strange times and this was just a movie that centered on 2 guys who loved the same woman and were willing to share her, not a big deal really.
Still it is not gay, a gay man is a man with no sexual attraction to women, so it is not that. I don't know if your gay but any gay man would say the same. Plus the two men did nothing sexual together so they are not bi, just 2 straight guys with a fetish. I think some people are just more comfortable with the reverse threesome 2 girls and a guy, maybe it's a guy thing. I as a woman did not care about the pairing.
I just wanted to see what the director was going to do with this strange concept. Even though I have seen a relationship like this in real life work. A girl in my class was with two brothers, married to the one and not the other of course, and they seemed fine, I told her she should get her own show "The Brother Husbands" I don't watch Sister Wives but I would watch Brother Husbands lol

reply

^ yes to your post^ ans LMAO at Brother Husbands. I would totally watch that too.

For the last time:
"Letting a guy to be in your intimate sphere (ie in the same room) during sex and you remain sexually aroused. There is no such thing as disregarding another human being in your intimate sphere." You enjoy it, or it puts you off. It doesn't matter if you touch each other or not. And enough of the spit *beep* bitch ass arguing with the older and more experienced...

"Anyone who claims to be a feminist instead of a humanist is a tap dancing monkey."

reply

Dude you must know the Golden Rule...

It's not gay when it's in a three-way
With a honey in the middle there's some leeway

reply

So.. if you masturbate, succesfully, inside this intimate sphere, you are infact touching "same sex" parts.. does this make you gay? Also does this intimate sphere have certain dimensions? Like if I'm doing it against the wall in my apartment, and the guy next door is painting the wall between our apartments from his side, does my sphere engulf him into our act and make us both gay (if so, I would feel obligated to tell him)?

reply

i think you need to learn to use your common sense
but generally speaking I don't think there are clear lines between what is gay and not. i believe everyone is more or less bisexual.
let's say "strictly" straight people are actually 5% bisexual
straight people who can actually manage to get an erection in the presence of same sex people are at least 10-15% part bisexuals in their individual sexuality.
the men who fetishize other men's cocks, ie watching ONLY porn where a woman(en) AND at least one dick is present, watching dominantly 2men 1 woman porn, enjoying things that the woman does to the guys, like rubbing the cocks against each other, or even making one cock to cum on the other etc, but don't like things that the guys would do to each other, this is let's say 15-30 percent bisexual
enjoying things that the guys do to each other as well as enjoying sex with a woman is completely bisexual, ie 50% gay 50% straight
