However silly it may have been, with whole silver thing.

Henry knew Lincoln was going to get shot, and offered to make him immortal. It was like a warning.

I'm still curious who the guy at the end was supposed to be and why the gun? Obama?

In the book vampires could bite the dead and bring them back. The man was added for the script and he seemed white. It was for any individual. Not a specific figure.
