So could Henry not kill Vamps at all or only directly?

Meaning that I know he would have failed trying to attack other vamps with a knife or other blade.

But what if he used a gun with silver bullets from afar?
Will the 'no vamps kill vamps' rule go so far as to distinguish who fired a gun at a vampire?

I would imagine it has less to do with the weapon and more to do with the intent.

If he shot at a human and a vamp jumped it the way but if he was purposely shooting at a vamp it would probably prevent him from pulling the trigger

It wasn't an invisible force field around them, it was an inability in their mind. Like when you point your weapon at an important character in a video game and the trigger no longer works, it would be like that, he would not be able to tell his finger to fire until he had moved the gun away from the vampire.

May not be able to kill a vamp, but they sure could kick the $hit out of one another apparently.
