They went down the path of vampire being able to choose who turns instead of the path of any bite turns unless drained of blood. We really need an institution that governs what is and isn't vampiric before we have a rediculous number of vampire sub-types. I mean we've now got vampires that bloody twinkle thanks to that bint who wrote Twilight.

It's outrageous that the Romanian government allow this to happen, if someone gave the Loch Ness Monster wings we Scots would be bloody furious!

I found that odd too. Also I believe William Johnson actually died of small pox around the time of the events of the train battle. They could have incorporated that in if they felt the need to kill off one of the characters.
