I'm wanting to check this out, but I heard it's tone is similar to boondocks. I don.'t have a problem with boondocks, it's just not interesting to me.

I don't think so, but it takes a little knowledge of blacksplotation cinema and the 70s for the humor referenced. It's funny and well worth a look see.

This is nothing like boondocks to me. Now in a fictional world, I could see riley WATCHING Black Dynamite.
