The Boondocks. At least the first three seasons. The writing and satire were always on point on The Boondocks. Black Dynamite has that too, but even the movie is something I couldnt watch over and over again. All in all, Black Dynamite is funny and has strengths but its on a different wavelength of comedy/satire than Boondocks.
When theres no more room in Hollywood, remakes shall walk the Earth.
Black Dynamite easily. Its satire alone wipes the floor with "Boondocks." I had difficulty over the years stomaching the latter while others praised it. I noticed that, in Hollywood, whenever something "Black" gets made, the bar is lowered. My expectations or standards for quality do not adjust depending on what ethnic culture is involved in a given production.
One thing I love about Black Dynamite is how it's set in the 70s. It gets to focus on an entirely different generation of Blacks. It does n't have the burden of having to capture the culture of today's era of young blacks. That is something difficult to portray while keeping it clever enough to laugh with audiences, rather than be laughed at by audiences. "Boondocks" tried far too hard to be black, as do most Black-oriented productions these days.
Black Dynamite is far cleverer, smoother, and delivers itself with more savvy.
I'm not a control freak, I just like things my way
^ AS SEASON 2 GOES ON,I'M STARTING TO LIKE BLACK DYNAMITE MORE MYSELF!

I like the Boondocks more than Black Dynamite. I feel the satire is a little more subtle. Black Dynamite is too in your face. I do love how BD is set in the 70's which sometimes I forget so I'm confused by the topics. For example, the slave episode when black people knew nothing about the history of slavery. I love the opening song and the colors of the animation.
The Boondocks is way better to me, the animation is better and the tone is smoother. I like the fact that it is set in modern time so the issues of today can be tackled. It is interesting to see how issues in BD are still prevalent today like the Elvis episode.
I don't think you can compare the two. It's like comparing The Jeffersons to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The Boondocks served its purpose during its time, and now Black Dynamite has the torch. And, some of the team (writers, actors, producers, etc.) from The Boondocks work on Black Dynamite. So for me, it's always going to be a tie between the two.
