The ending could have been much better if....

Most of the movie Leo suffers the through disappointment and heartbreak only for her family to get her back and Jeremy getting a second shot at her but it's only suggested that she and Leo get back together again. It would have been a much better ending if they added a few minutes showing her and Leo dating again and then ended with their remarriage to the chagrin of her father and Jeremy.

But it's based on a true story.
And it's kind of intruiging and lovely that she fell in love with him twice!

I would have enjoyed the ending more if she got her memory back just to find him having found a new love.
