Convinced this wasn't originally suppose to be a Die Hard movie

It's shot so cheap and poorly it felt like it was going to be on of Bruce's straight-to-DVD movies and then they just slightly changed the script around to make it a Die Hard movie.

when I watched it, the only part I really remember was the slow motion helicopter crash at the end - which means the rest of the film wasn't really memorable

This is my favorite Die Hard movie because its the only one that takes place in Russia
