You'd think Fox had gotten some sense back since they fired Rothman's filthy ass, what with the new Predator, Alien 3.5 and all. Then they go ahead and do something like this.

Die Hard is truly fücking dead.

I remember hearing that the next Die Hard was going to have McClane travelling to Japan to accept honours from the Nakatomi corp. on the 30th anniversary of the events of the first film and that the story would be much simpler and would tie in with the original more.
Making it a much more personal film with McClane not being super-human as he became in 4 and 5.

This gave me high hopes....this announcement dashed it on the rocks. Even if it's partly current and the origin stuff is flashbacks...it's still garbage. McClane's origins are in the first Die Hard movie!

Though hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's impossible to win an argument with an idiot
