That I shouldn't trust Russians, but when it comes to making an area radiation free, then I should totally trust them.

Also, Jai Courtney is a franchise killer.

I think if any country invented some sort of anti-radiation device, it would probably be Russian. It isn't too far out of the realm of believability that the Russian government could come up with something that would neutralize radiation given their history with nuclear weapons creation and the Chernobyl disaster. I'm sure there are plenty of things the US government has at their disposal that they completely deny exist. Remember, Alik and Irina were supposed to be a mercenary unit for Chagarin, a dirty government official.

Yeah, I know the US govt is top secret. I accept that.

If the Russian gov't could create such a device, it'd be worth billions of dollars. Considering how bad the Russian economy is, it'd be a well-known device, I'd think. It was just too much for the movie, put it over the top.
