Yellowish Cinematography
This movie is shot like a yellow filter was used in front of the camera for this movie. You can see the reflections of headlights refracting in certain shots, which means that some filter was in place in front of the lens. So, maybe it was a yellow filter. Or, it was done in the Digital Intermediate using some digital yellow filter. I found it pretty off-putting. Everything has a strong yellowish cast to it. I am not sure why Allen has liked this in his latter-day movies. Darius Khondji follows Allen's other recent cinematographers in doing that. I am guessing it is Allen's preference. With today's technology, it would be good if someone used digital tools to reverse the process.
