He lives in 2010. He has a camera. Record everything on video, show your wife.
He finds Andriana's diary, that she mentions him and his wife. SHOW YOUR WIFE.
If she didn't believe him with these evidence, then she deserves a spot in hell, right next to satan.

First of all: thats not a plot hole.

Second:Gil is a romantic guy, who dreams about a nostalgia shop. He prefers to personally show his fiancee all that hes been through, instead of giving her solid evidence. With the exception of his phone, you dont see Gil carrying any tech device around.
