It has a rating of 5.3 already?! Who saw it?
shareI saw it yesterday morning and would give it about a 6-6.5. It gets points for originality, and does have some pretty funny things, but is actually much darker than I anticipated. Dark films are fine with me, but I suppose the film as a whole was just a little too odd for my taste. I will say that there was a scene near the middle after we had already known Frank for a while where the crowd began to laugh, and at first I was like "Why are they laughing? Nothing is happening," but then realized "Oh, yeah. He's just acting normal, but has this big fake head on and these new characters in the film probably find it weird," but the thing was, by that point, I had pretty much stopped seeing him as a guy with a big fake head and was just seeing Frank, so I guess Fassbender should get some major credit for that little experience of mine.

Well that's promising. I like dark movies/dark comedies. With a Fassbender project, dark usually means real. This sounds like my kind of movie.
*I understand curiosity but dirt won't allow you to see the character. share
