I'm confused?
can somebody please tell me why this movie appears to have nothing to do with the British based mancunian?
shareChris Sievey was still alive when the screenplay was being written. He didn't want the story to be a true to life depiction of his and Frank's life, more of an "inspired by" film.

What were all the head scars on Frank? From the car accident or from possible mental illness surgery? Did Chris have scars also?
I was interested why he had those scars too. I believe though that there was a type of brace inside the mask that fit around his head to keep it straight and from not wobbling around. So he would kind of wear the head as like a hat almost. And since Frank never took it off, it would've caused his hair to thin out and his skin to become agitated from where the brace would fit on.
That's what I think anyway.
