Just a bit of trivia connected to Frank / Frank Zappa
The movie makes a few mentions of Don's interest in mannequins. At one point, they mention that one of the mannequins is named "Caroline *beep*
This is actually a reference to a story recounted in The Real Frank Zappa Book, where he is talking about a friend of his living for awhile with a guy called Wild Bill, who had the same habit, and had outfitted a collection of mannequins with prosthetics.
