Do you think a prequel would be cool?

Even though this movie really stands on its own and doesn't require a sequel since the meaning of the ending, do you think a prequel would work?

Maybe include some of the mental hospital situations without ruining (instead maybe even expanding) the mystery of Frank's character. and show the start of the Soronprfbs with Scoot McNairy as the keyboard player and more insight on what happened to his character since the start of "Frank". I could see his character have a role of similar importance to how Jon's role was in this film.... It could be titled The Soronprfbs.

I don't know, just a thought. It's probably not likely anyway.
Like I said the movie does stand on its own, but I still would love to see more of Michael Fassbender as Frank and hear some more 'Frank music'. Feel like they could do more with this concept.

I don't think so. I think the ambiguous origins, for lack of a better word, adds a bit more to these characters.

Normally when I see a movie and get into it I always want more which results to me wanting sequels just so I can see more despite if it turned out horrible. In this case Frank is the kind of movie I can't see have a prequel or sequel as much as I would love to see more of it but I think the film had a great start and finish that would be difficult to follow up. A prequel could be interesting but at the same time I feel ruin most of the mystique that followed the characters. I want them to remain likeable as they are I feel seeing more of a drama of Frank in the hospital would sorta ruin the character because to me it would seem more depressing than having the charm of the original. I mean at the same time if they would do anything a prequel would make more sense to keep Frank having the head throughout the film opposed to a sequel where it would seem to be Frank has gotten use to the idea of not wearing the head. Also have to think what category would work best for a sequel or prequel could they do something as charming and funny as this movie or will they have to focus more on the drama aspect of things.

I honestly can't see a sequel or prequel done. This is pretty much feels like its a one shot deal and should remain that way although with that being said if anything is done right then it would work.
