Choice of Fassbender...
Absolutely brilliant.
Whenever they make a film where a character face is hidden there are two classical outcomes:
- They never get to show his face (although maybe getting really near to it at the end of the movie).
- They choose a strange face, maybe a face that represent the opposite of what the character behaviour has been up to that point, or just a peculiar face (like the "tree surgeon" near the end).
In this film, instead, they choosed good. They picked an actor with an, even though really attractive, ordinary straight face.
I liked the choice and I think he also looked like a famous singer whose name I have on the tip of the tongue, *beep*, and I found it really appropriate.
