The Doors

Anyone else get this feeling from the music, voice, and lyrics?

If Morrison had a bad cold or flu, sure.

The moments where Frank was trying to sing well sounded like a fairly good Jim Morrison impression. I don't think Fassbender was really even trying to hide that. I don't agree with this in the sense of the music and the lyrics. Only in the sense that the songs were really out there and didn't have a lot of musical structure. But The Doors only have some songs that are like that, most of their work is really musical and is good songwriting. The only song I would really compare with Frank would be Horse Latitudes, just because it's *beep* crazy and not really an actual song.

Yes it seemed like it was a cross between Frank Zappa and the Doors with a little bit of Johnny Cash at the end

Yes! When i heard the last song of the movie, I Love You All, I thought Michael Fassbender sounded like Jim Morrison singing. He has a really good singing voice. It is an oddly memorizing song, much like the movie and the music of The Doors. I love them all!

When you get up in the morning, how do you decide what shade of black to wear? (Shallow Grave)

I didn't think he sounded like Jim Morrison, I think he sounded like Val Kilmer doing Jim Morrison.

Yes! I felt his voice was a mix of Morrison & Franz Ferdinand with the music a mix of Franz Ferdinand & My Morning Jacket
