I'm a buzzkill, but re: Frank's head (moderate spoilers)

So Frank never takes the head off. I get the sense of magical realism and/or hipster absurdity where this could have taken place among his bandmates and associates while they were in Europe when they found Jon, but did Frank not fly and go through Customs/other airport security between Europe and the US (and vice versa) Even if he flew separate from the band, he surely would not have taken the head off just for the flight and agents?

If anyone can postulate some sort of explanation, I'd love that. If not, I totally get that I'm looking too closely for answers where the questions needn't be posed.

They sorta explain it when he goes through the boarder. When the agent stops them and Frank claims he has papers to allow him to wear the head. I know what your saying though going through a airport would be much more difficult but just use your imagination. I am sure Frank has doctors and other contacts that if he was brought to the side they are able to make conformation that he can indeed wear the head. He had to have gotten those papers somewhere and so maybe they are official documents that they were able to approve and allow. It comes down to being a work of fiction so its hard to say in this day and age with 9/11 and all that sure Airports are more serious about checking and securing but I am sure there are some ways around it as long as it was handled the proper way.

Ah, you're totally right. I must not have been paying attention during that scene because I remember it now but wasn't thinking of it when I posted last night. Nonetheless, no note is getting you on the plane with that. Glad there was at least acknowledgement of it in the film, though. Thanks!

They can't keep you from traveling if they can know that you're not a risk. I'm sure there are legal exceptions for things like this.
