lol.

Same thing happens in The Strangers. They cant shoot a gun until friend walks in house. Then its shoot first ask questions later.

Are you questioning the plausibility?

Because unless you've been in that situation, I think it would be hard to tell what you would or wouldn't do.

Adrenaline mixed with the basic instinct to survive makes people do crazy things sometimes.

It's called survival instincts. People become unpredictable when adrenaline kicks in, especially when it's a life or death situation and you don't have time to think.

Just a common horror movie cliche that annoys me.
These survival instincts never kicked in until an innocent man walks in. These people who were acting like sheep for the better part of an hour turned into wolves for 1 minute. Cheep ploy to get rise out of audience(Yeah they got the killer!)
Only to find out it wasn't him.
