Not as good as "Drive" and "Bronson"....
When I saw Alejandro Jodorowsky's name drop in the credits, I knew I had to be put in that kind of mindset to enjoy this film. A "Lynch-ian", haunting surrealism one would expect from seeing their respective films.
But it does get too much, even for a short 1h, 30min movie.
I love the message of the movie. I identify with the ruthless, vigilante cop in the movie. Goslings character is monotone; he's a great actor in other movies, just not this one.
There are minimal actions scenes in the movie, done in a minimalist sort of way.
IF you were expecting another "Drive" or "Bronson" where there was a dialogue and action that kept the pace, OGF isn't it.
