I've owned this flick on BD for ages, but only got around to watching it today.

That ending? So the bad guy chops off Gosling's arms then sings kareoke over the credits. Jesus H.
What was the deal with the kareoke moments? Their relevence?
karaoke = murder.
Or maybe karaoke is the opposite of violence.

I feel the same way. Like I had no idea what was going on but I couldn't look away.
And what's with the stare downs. I don't even remember a lot of lines from the movie. I feel that most of it was just people staring at each other.

The singing was his catharsis. Every time he murdered someone, he sang. Bringing light to his darkness.
