At the beginning of he movie, Tom Hardy tells the detective that one of the guys was wearing a watch stuck on a certain time and later on in the movie, someone leaves a bag with the money and guy's arm hanging on a fence. So who killed the guy and returned the money?
shareMost posters believe it was the Chechens just sending a message to Marv. I personally think it was Marv trying to scare Bob and keep him in line. I don't believe the Chechens could just suddenly find out who the robbers were because of a watch that stopped working. Just my own take on it.
shareI agree. I feel it was Marv. His behavior throughout shows that he would cross anyone and him running the other brother over shows that. If it was the other guys then the kid would've likely talked and that would be Marv's arm in that bag. I'd guess with the line of my brother hasn't been seen since he got in a car with a guy, also points to marv because if thr kid just ripped a place off and was paranoid he'd likely only get in a car at gunpoint or with someone he knew. Also, Marv is one guy, the Checians don't roll alone unless it was their hitman but again they'd have to have info. Marv putting the garbage bag in his trunk towards the end showed he was going to double cross his new hired hand too.
