I have to vent...I hate this show with a passion

I just can't stand it. They pick through nothing but JUNK! Is this a serious show? I don't get it. My parents love it and they plan to come visit me and I will HAVE to watch it with them while they are here but I'd rather watch paint dry! I'll have to excuse myself and go read a book or watch the other television or be a b**** and say NO WAY WILL THAT CRAP BE ALLOWED IN MY HOME! LOL!! I really cannot stand this show. Am I alone in feeling this way?

You are not alone... this is how I feel about all the "Reality Informercials" and "Reality" shows on the useless POS channel that still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY...

And I know you are here to just start a circle jerk argument, and stir up shyt on a relatively dead board for a piece of garbage show on a piece of garbage channel... the OP stated he does not watch the show.. he is just venting... and asks if he is the only one that feels the way he does.

So apparently, he has "changed the channel".. and so have I. If you indeed do watch and enjoy the show.. good for you... start your own thread and discuss it.

Me again, Razor daddio get netflix it has tons of historical documentaries. You dont need the History channel.

Do what I do, put them on ignore - the boards are so much more refreshing when you take the incessant negativity out of them.

IMDB's "ignore user" button = priceless :)

michelle... another way to take the "incessant negativity out" is to not read negative threads, and let those of us who are fed up with the garbage Cable TV has become... COMPLAIN....

Actually we should encourage them to keep watching - they'll help boost the show's ratings ensuring it will be renewed year after year :)

90% of this "junk" is a part of American history. From old board games to gas station signs. This is one of the more realist reality shows out there. And it fits perfectly on The History Channel. As the user above said, turn the channel.

Dutchman, some people thrive on constantly complaining. And misery loves company. Pissing and moaning gives them great pleasure. And yes, Tubofun, they don't make those old signs and stuff like that anymore. I appreciate that they are digging all that stuff out for people to enjoy once again.

simba... AMERICAN PRICKERS, like every piece of garbage "Reality" Infomercial, on the channel that still has the nerve to call itself HISTORY is, Garbage under the guise of "History".

Exactly, Ltrazordaddio. The show makes me think that one day the characters on it will one day be on Hoarders.
