I picked up on this on the Classic Film Board:

Its creator calls it a clone of IMDB. I just looked at it, and it looks promising.

it's not a clone of IMDB!!! It's simply a chat thread format that many, many, many other websites use. It not an owned format, it's rented monthly.

I think the Administrator meant that its layout of categories is similar to IMDB.

I'm not going to argue with him. At this point, it's better than nothing.
