But OP brings up a great point, and probably the only cliffhangerleft. Who DID kill Kerri Anne, and why was she out of her cage on the concrete like that? Wah. Love guinea pigs too.
She probably forgot to lock her cage... I think they were doing some build-up to the fact that her Alzheimer's is causing her inability to function alone anymore. So sad... I love Gran :(
shareUnfortunately, I think gran was responsible for her death. She either left her cage open, left her out of her cage, or killed her in an alzheimer's fit. Some alzheimer's patients get violent/mean (although not at as early a stage as gran is at now). I've lost 2 loved ones to it, one got violent/mean but the other didn't.
