... I think that's the point. We're supposed to hate the the arrogant, untalented, spoiled, overly flashy and entitled behavior of some "rap superstars" of America (think of any flash-in-the-pan rapper shown on "Cribs" in the early 2000s). Being American myself, I know I hate the s.mouses of the music world! Lilley does an amazing job of nailing the ridiculous behavior and songs completely lacking in relevance.

Does anyone else think this character is at least partially based on Sisqo, of "The Thong Song" fame?!?!?!

Exactly! My husband HATES him, and that's exactly what I've been telling him the whole time. I think Lilley nailed it perfectly.

I think it was only meant to be ridiculous to us as viewers. In the context of the story, the song is what reinvigorates his career. It's the only track that gets picked up by a radio station and more importantly, at least I think, the only song his dad actually likes.

I think all that is fairly obvious. Come on - look at his songs. Slap My Elbow? Seriously? He's a caricature of rap musicians.

Can you imagine being so worthless and being worth so much? I'm getting older so I don't keep up with the music scene like I used to but I saw some guy I never heard of (who I guess was a rapper) was worth $600 million. What? That's over halfway to a billion and I haven't even heard of him.

With world population taking off it seems to be getting easier. If I could record something I called music and even got 100,000 people to download it on iTunes I could be said to be making an honest living. That's 100,000 out of 7,000,000,000 people in the world.

And if I sold albums? (Do people still make albums?) Oh yeah....and my lesser hits. Maybe only 3 or 4 songs that get downloaded 20,000 times.

Meanwhile most of us are working normal "job-type jobs" and knowing that we'll be struggling to pay bills the rest of our lives.

Chris Lilley is such a talented guy. His song in Angry Boys' is bloody infectious, though awful at the same time. 'We Can Be Heroes', his first was great but i think 'Summer Heights High' was the best. The Mr G character was stellar..

S.mouse actually gigged in London soon after the series finished. 'Crushed N*igger' and 'Grandmother-f*ucker' were good tracks, LOL.
