2 spoiler questions.

1. Looking back on it, one omen I noticed was Arthur's son's drawing of them and the train. Another was Arthur helping the chick back into its nest in the fireplace and then the crow flying out. Were there any other omens I missed?

2. Why is she still angry after being reunited with her son?

Thanks for any answers.

I generally pride myself on noticing omens and foreshadowings like this, but I never made the connection between the crows and TWiB and Nathaniel.

I wondered at that myself until I thought of it this way. She was reunited with her son and she reunited him with his wife - what he wanted. Maybe I read it wrong but it makes some sort of sense to me.

I am afraid I have to disagree. It is explained enough already: She was too far gone to act sane (for as far that is posible for an evil spirit) and her son didn't recognize her for being his mother. Reuniting him and her didn't do what was supposed to be done. The 'never forgive, never forgive' quote should be enough for that.

Come to think of it, she might be happy about being united (not sure nor stated) but she actually says "I'll never forgive you for letting my boy die. Never forgive. Never forgive..."

Everybody expected the boy going down in the end at the start of the movie, then feels all swell at the end. And then the surprise...
