The Room with the Doll on the Floor (Jane Leaves Neil)
Does anyone know what the significance was of Jane being in that room with the doll (and a covering over it) and, what looked like, a dead turkey on the floor?
She had previously whispered that she wanted Neil to marry her, and that she loved Neil --- he is unable to respond to either --- but as she travels through this room we hear her voice-over saying "i thought I knew you ... now I don't think you ever were ..."
What is going on in this room?
Thanks.
KW.
