Questions About Rickshaws.......

Are they at all common in Canada, or anywhere else in the Western world, for that matter?

If the rickshaw 'driver' were to trip and fall (or just drop the bar) with passengers on it, would it fall forward, or backward?

I noticed during the rickshaw ride the guy gives the married couple (played by Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen) on their anniversary, that by the time they arrived at the theater, it was getting dark, yet the back (or sides, or front) of the rickshaw had (from what I could see) no reflectors, reflective tape or anything else that would help other drivers see it in the dark.......is that normal, or was this just something the film's production company missed?

Has anyone here ever had a ride on one, and if so, what was it like?
