A Sequel Set Entirely in the Further

If they make a fourth film (which I can all but guarantee they will), I was thinking of possible directions to take the series. I mean, I think they've kind of played out the "things going bump in the night" haunted house premise by now and just repeating that won't really work anymore. So... how about a sequel set almost exclusively in The Further.

The scenes in Insidious 2 with Josh navigating his way out of the Further with Elise's help was arguably the most interesting part of that film. A universe of sorts comprised entirely of spirits, ghosts, and demons also has promise, lots of interesting things you can do with that. Plus, they can finally move forward with that Ghost Elise vs Red Demon showdown teased at the end of the second film. Could be interesting.
