Was reading this blog and its review of the film and it brings up a humerus, but kinda interesting idea that this could be almost an alternative universe for Marshall Erikson from HIMYM, if he never met Lily.

Not really true,either: that pushy, boisterous family from Minnesota would never let their son do nothing with his life but smoke weed in the basement.
