The most beautiful film you've ever seen, might not be even longer than 15 minutes. Would its running time make it any less beautiful?
Exactly. Isn't Dumbo just over 60 minutes? I prefer movies be short and concise rather than fluff the running time, as 90% of movies seem to do. You don't NEED to hit 90 minutes, 70 minutes of great footage is much preferred!
Also love how the OP says 'ignoring the first few minutes of film, the movie is X amount of minutes'. OK, well done. Guess what man, if you ignore the opening 45 minutes, it's only a 20 minute or so movie! See how that works?

Uhhh not it doesn't diminish the quality, what you get with this movie is 73 mediocre minutes. If I had actually paid to watch this film and hadn't downloaded it illegally, I would be pissed at spending money to watch a film with an undercooked screenplay and so few ideas that is is barely feature length. That's the reason it is so short. Really what this felt like was a TV pilot for a show that didn't get picked up.
Go watch Good Night and Good Luck, that's also barely feature length but packs in so many ideas it feels much longer than it is.
If I sat down and watched a 15 minute film I'd spent 15 bucks on it could be the next Citizen Kane but I'd be pissed.

I'm not sure weather you are complaining or not about this movie being short, but if you are, then you are one of the retarded people in the world. Most of the people today, think that in order for a movie to be good, it has to be shamefully long. E.G Dark Knight, Avatar. It doesn't matter if a movie is 2 hours or 20 minutes. If it's good, it's good. This movie was good, that's that.
shareI love the length, it wouldn't of been nearly as good otherwise. Movies drag on unnecessarily too often, this had just the right amount on each character, and on them together to make the intended point, and leave you feeling great and wanting a little more, unlike some movies that leave you bored and anxiously awaiting the credits.
