Wait, 7,0/10?
I haven't seen it, but I'm kind of surprised. I'm not trying to knock it or anything, but, hm.. really did not expect that

shareIf you haven't seen this movie then how can you be kind of surprised by its rating? Watch the movie then you will be able to make a more informed statement.
When you close your eyes is it hell you see?
you're trying to school me with your Evil Dead remake avatar? that's funny.
Why is my avatar funny to you? Maybe you can explain how an inanimate object can school you? I happen to like the Evil Dead remake and I made an avatar from one of the scenes in that movie. Nothing more.
I told you not to put metal in the science oven, what did you do that for?
Maybe you can explain how an inanimate object can school you?
I used to have an avatar I made from the Evil Dead remake but have since changed it. That's why Evil Dead was mentioned in the earlier posts so maybe they make more sense now.
Cowabunga!
Yeah I understood everything. I was pointing out that the person you were responding to was insecure and didn't have the mental capacity to respond to the point you made about having not seen the film. Which is when he just got defensive, took a shot at your previous avatar, then bolted.

Yup, I gave it a 7/10. It is a fun, young love saves the world, zombie flick and I'm 51.

A lot of 7's. Add one more. :)
The movie gets forced at times and hokey at the end. But there's a good unique story, a different take on zombies, and some truly funny moments. More positives than negatives, and enjoyable if a person drops their preconceptions of what zombies are supposed to be.
"Rock you like a hurricane" scene just came up. Too funny.
If you buy a ticket for a remake, you are the problem, not Hollywood.
Here's a thought: see it, THEN comment on it. That will make so much more sense.
It's fun, clever, funny and yes, romantic. Certainly deserves the rating IMO. You, on the other hand, don't HAVE an opinion yet. Let us know when you do.
The movie is better than you think it would be to say the least as it focuses more on the relationship of the two leads instead of the usual blood/guts BS that we have seen a million times before in other horror types of movies like this.
Teresa Palmer is the reason i gave this movie a shot in the first place as i think she's THE most attractive actress out there under the age of 30. but the movie itself was better than i thought it would be as you can see below...
My Top 13 movies of 2013 out of the 115 2013 released movies i have seen...
1.The Wolf of Wall Street - 8/10
2.Before Midnight - 7-7.5/10
3.At Middleton
4.Adore - 7/10
5.Only God Forgives
6.Spring Breakers
7.Captain Phillips
8.Rush
9.The Artist and the Model
10.Nebraska
11.Warm Bodies
12.We're the Millers
13.The Lone Ranger
i have seen all thirteen movies there above at least twice now. some that used to be in my Top 15-ish area of 2013 have taken a hit on a re-watch while others held steady and some grew a bit stronger. but at this point my Top 13 movies list should be pretty stable.

If Imdb would allow better rating Id give it a 6,7... since Im forced to choose 6 or 7, I gave it a seven too.
The first part of the movie with R describing his dull zombie life was even an 8 for me. Second half downgraded it for me.
