Frankly they (Julie and Perry) broke up long ago and she acknowledged he was seeking his own demise since then. If not R some other corpse would get him.

If she knew that from Day 1, she would probably not have got to know R and forgive him. However, the time she spent with him BEFORE that was revealed helped with the forgiveness part.
