I loved this movie. I thought Angelina Jolie was perfect in this movie and I cannot imagine anyone else in the role other than her (maybe years ago Angelica Houston though). I also cried when her wings were removed as well as at the ending.
shareDitto. I loved the darker fantasy elements and Jolie was superb (I'm not normally a fan). There were the obligatory three funny characters etc, etc, but this is Disney and they had to provide for all ages (which I think they did well) and supply the elements that fans of the story will expect - as well as a few surprises!
All for a box of chocolates...
I like some of the darker Disney fairytale PG movies that are on offer. I enjoyed 'Into The Woods' but I reckon 'Maleficent' is better.
