Worth getting into?

The first 4 seasons are really funny. But it starts to slow down after that. Seasons 5-7 are still good in my opinion but season 8 and 9 are terrible, it gets a little better during season 10. I haven't gotten to S11 yet.

However, it would be hard to answer this because I don't know what your taste in films/TV shows are.

I recommend it for people that like very or extremely politically incorrect/unwoke entertainment. It touches on just about every taboo subject you can think of and then expects you to like it. lol..

However, the latter seasons become more of a wokefest, which is disappointing. The storylines get really awful too. Especially for Carl Gallagher played by Ethan Cutkosky. Not that his story-line was ever any good but honestly, his character on the show is the least interesting. You almost want to just fast forward when he appears on screen. lol....

That being said, the other lines are very entertaining. I say check it out if you like in-your-face, unapologetic comedy. If not, then steer clear of this one... you need thick skin to get through this. Which is probably why they call it "Shameless".
