The 911 Call

*****SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!*****

Anyone else notice that on the "911 call" that opens the movie, Thomas is screaming about how his mother and sister are both dead? Then at the end of the movie, the details state that the mom committed suicide upon hearing of the death of her children (assuming this was after Thomas killed himself in jail after having been accused of raping and murdering Samantha). Not sure anyone has mentioned this already, but if that's not a massive plot hole then I don't know what is.

Apart from that... I thought this movie wasn't bad. It's very obviously a Paranormal Activity "ripoff" (more so than Paranormal Activity was a ripoff of Blair Witch) but it contained some genuinely creepy moments. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Yep, I noticed it too. There have been a couple threads about it here as well.
I think its a shame they goofed it, as otherwise its a very good film!
Some theorized that he didn't mean the demon 'killed' her, he may have been hysterical and just blurted that out...meaning it 'killed' her in spirit.
Either way, I try and overlook it as its a very creepy movie.

But I still wonder...if it was a Goof how did they miss it?? Don't people preview their movies before releasing them?

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
