You would think after filming a scene with a visual effect would be studied well before printing, especially when you know that scene will be heavily scrutinized by the audience. In the scene where the covers are being pulled off of Samantha while sleeping, you can clearly see a hand appear int he lower left side of the screen to pull on the wire that was attached to the blanket.....Its no obvious that it makes me wonder if they did that on purpose....
shareI noticed that when the mam rang home from the motel, the lad answered his mobile, but when he picked it up and turned it over the screen was completely black. Surely when a mobile rings the screen lights up with the number? lol.
Also someone on here mentioned somewhere about the sister at the end...bloody...clean.
And when his cell phone rang it was the ring of a home phone not a cell phone. I know people have personalized ringtones but I found that to be pretty dumb.

my friends and i noticed that right away too. i also have an iphone, and whenever it rings the screen is lit up displaying the number or name, and the little bar shows up to slide over to answer the call. it's not a black screen. plus, you can tell the ringing isn't coming from that phone.

I didn't notice the hand, but I did see a brief flash of a person pushing open a door early on in the film.

I noticed that everytime the phone rang it sounded as if the phone was in the room with them, not across the house. I mean I know phones have ring volumes but still.
When the three of them are in the kitchen the phone rings and Thomas gets up, it sounds like he shuts a door behind him, and the phone sounds like the caller hung up just then Thomas anwsers the phone, but sounds like hes in the same room.
I noticed the cell picking up but it was the house phone. But if you were expecting a call phone your mom and sister why would you leave your phone in another room or even take it out of your pocket until you get that call.
Another thing that I dont get it that the Synopsis says that were watching the actual footage, but then again why does it need acters?
And why doesnt it ever show Thomas's face?
Also why does Thomas never switch to night vision on his camera or bring a flashlight when going outside to look for Samantha?
The worst part is at the end when the sister is supposedly getting "raped" by the ghost and hovering. You can clearly see that she's leaning over something covered in black sheet and she even braces herself with her right arm and then swings her legs back and forth. Ehh... Why did I watch this crap... ok boobs though, but, you can see the depression from implant over her nipple. Fake!
