Worth watching?

No spoilers please, but as a fan of horror, found footage and Paranormal Activity, is this worth watching?

I've heard it's an Asylum movie which disappoints me since I watched Amityville Haunting (and if you've seen it, well, you know). But I saw on some other movie threads this was actually better than PA (which I doubt). Just curious if it'll give a scare or two or is it completely cheesy?

Don't bother, nothing scary happens snd the climax is anticlimactic. The female lead is moderately attractive and you do get to see her boobies for a split second, thats the only redeeming feature I can think of.

I really like this film. Its got more 'activity' than "PA" does, and some of the activity is original and scary.
It has similarities to "PA" of course because its a 'knockoff' of it of sorts.
But its original enough for me to watch it often.

The ending (no spoilers don't worry) is indeed abrupt as others have mentioned, and I think it could have been stronger. But then, the end to the otherwise good "PA" was too.

I liked this film.

It's definitely one of The Asylum's better offerings, not a hard feat though considering some of the muck they come out with. It's a cross between Paranormal Activity and The Entity (cleverly reflected in the title(!)) so if you enjoyed those movies I think you'd like this. Worth a watch.

LoL funny you responded a couple hours after I finally watched it (and I started this thread almost a year ago). It wasn't bad. Not as creepy as PA, but better than part 4. Definitely not disappointed I watched it, but most likely won't watch it again.

I didn't think it was that bad either. I thought the scene with the footprints on the ceiling was pretty scary.

OMG, that footprint scene scared the crap out of me! And when they follow the steps and the door slams and the phone begins ringing faster & faster...I jump even now!
