sam is bloodied up when thomas 1st goes into the room and she is being attacked, then he cameras back to her there is nothing but a stab wound on her chest and hardly any blood, i guess the demon finished the job and the cops put it all on Thomas. Search for a movie called "The Entity".

I liked this film a lot, but I'm surprised at the 2 glaring goofs: This one, and the one at the beginning of the film where he says the family is dead.
But later, it says that the mom killed herself when she learns Thomas & Samantha are dead.
"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
