Well, Blind Master has always been a black dude in G.I. Joe lore and is one of only like three relevant Arashikage masters from the comics. RZA is a famous black dude famous for his love of eastern philosophy and the martial arts aesthetic.
Say what you will about the actual quality of the performance, but it seems like a match made in heaven to me.
Yeah Dorko, I would agree with you. I don't know a great deal about Wu Tang Clan but it seems like they're into and respect that kind of thing. Sure he's not going to give the best performance but I still enjoyed the movie.

Does seem a bit silly but who would you have rather seen Steven Seagal's fatass in the role? xD I thought RZA was alright in Repo Men and Derailed.
