Ryan saying "There's a new girl next door, be nice to her".

This line made no sense, because Carrie Anne is supposedly being held captive and never leaves.

I suppose it could be Ryan (being the psycho that he is) just "pretending" that things are "normal" with him and his sister Carrie Anne.

I think he said that cause he knows, Carrie Anne wants to escape?
And if she might get to that point, she should at least not scare her neighbours?
