With the exception of Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire as they did have about 5 of the actors mentioned in that ridiculous New York Times article. Yep, the NYT strikes again!
Other than those two movies there wasnt any more than 2 in any particular movie. They were just young, mostly bad actors in a variety of middling movies.

Just a bunch of different young actors who were cast in a bunch of shitty teen movies in the mid 80s, with two movies having a handful of them together.
The Rat Pack also didn't star in many movies together, but were a group of friends. I haven't watched the documentary so i don't know if the Brat Pack were indeed close friends.
