The guy following him...
Who was it?
share...You find out in the film...
Or do you mean the guy(s) watching from the car while he was in the park and the one that followed him home near the end?
Just some hitman that killed Mike and made it look like overdose. No biggies.
shareYeah you seem him for a second earlier on in the film, he's a middle-aged white dude with a goatee (not the guy who showed mike the video tape) and he's approaching Mike's car after he runs out of the funeral home
shareSame guy, just opened up the movie and looked.
shareIt is the same guy. I think the speculated hitman was the older bald guy near the beginning of the film. We're never introduced to him, but he is with UMS. Remember the bathroom scene where he crept up on Mike with his nosebleed? He's got the stealth skills, and later on he says to Price the UMS lawyer, "fix this or things will get ugly for both of us" or something like that.
got blunt?
What I didn't quite understand (and I know it's a movie, and one based on a true story) if they wanted to put pressure on him, they are following him, then they know he is a heavy drug user. All they would have to do is shop him in to the police and a drug conviction would get him disbarred would it not?
shareHis reputation tarnished or not theres still a case against GPO.

People are murdered over money plain and simple--not only was he (Weiss) murdered, but just weeks apart from each other the two US attorneys investigating the case died under mysterious circumstance.
Shannon K. Ross was 44 years old, was not sick and died suddenly with cause of death being meningomyeloradiculitis.
Thelma Quince Colber was 55 years and found face down in the pool.
Three other assistant US attorneys working on the case were fired or forced to resign.
Way beyond setting someone up for drugs doncha' think?
