Brendan Canning has said that BSS are working on the soundtrack for this movie while touring their amazing new album.
After the awesomeness of their work on Half Nelson, I think we can get very excited about the music for this movie.
it would be great if Sonic Youth did the soundtrack seeing how the movie shares the same name as one of their albums. Hell one of the characters is named Thurston, probably named after Thurston Moore, the lead guitarist in SY
shareAm I the only one who hates it when people say Thurston is the lead guitarist? SY is obviously a band that has no lead anything. Him and Lee switch things up, Kim plays guitar a lot since Ibold joined on bass, and back when Jim O'Rourke was playing with them, well, let's just say there's no way you can pick a lead guitarist from that pack. In the last decade, they've done a number of tracks where Thurston doesn't even play guitar.
I also can't say he's the lead singer either, seeing as he shares those duties with Lee and Kim as well.
and don't forget to try the dipping sauces. They really bring out the ham.
i think at 6'6'', people just assume he's the captain of the band. but after 30 years together, there's no lead anything. why i <3 them sooo much!
