So it is about her sleeping around?

I saw the trailer and other than making it about how she's trying to figure her life out by sleeping with 2 or 3 different guys, I don't really get what the stories about?

So it is about her sleeping around?
Yes, basically.

It is sort of about the main character's sex life, but that's only one part of it. Basically it's about her moving to a small town and all the crazy stuff that goes on there (giant fire, serial killer, etc) and how much she hates it compared to the city she used to live in. Then eventually she gets involved in a love triangle with a teacher and a fellow student and everything starts to go even more downhill. In my opinion, it's really about a lot of things-- specific things like how much this particular high school sucks and all the things that go on in this particular town, plus more broad subjects like what kinds of consequences there are to the choices people make, how fragile a person's mind can be, and how people cope with crises.

And sex. There's that as well.

I think the style of the film is too "dreamy" for one to be able to say the film is basically about one or two main things that happen in it. The film is "about" everything that happens in it, as well as "about" a style and a mood.

As for her coming from the city, I see that as just a plot device to explain her sophistication. This movie has been compared to Juno, and I think it can be seen as a very successful attempt at reworking some of the themes in Juno. One of the problems with Juno was that the main character was so much more sophisticated and clever than any of her peers, when she grew up in the same town they did.

Also the whole pregnancy thing and deciding to have the baby in Juno was just a plot device to build a story around. Although I liked Juno, all those plot elements about the girl in Juno having the baby but then giving it away now come across as hackneyed and artificial. I find the story of a girl having an affair with one of her teachers, because her peers are so boring to her, and then seeing through her teacher and connecting with and "saving" one of her peers, more compelling and less contrived.

The ability to spit out rapid and unrestrained sentences is not a sign of sophistication nor cleverness. It means their mom's had a surge of hormones for a couple of days when they were in their mother's womb that affected the fetus' brain during the time when the part of their brain responsible for speaking had been developing. The successful male public speakers are like that too.
